Dr Stephen Musgrave lives near Lancaster in the NorthWest of England and is married with four grown up children. Stephen was a former Merchant Navy Radio/Electronics Officer and a lifeboat crew volunteer and coxswain for 23 years. In 1985 he received the Bronze Award from the R.N.L.I. for the most meritorious rescue carried out in the UK by a lifeboat under 10 metres. He has been a Magistrate in the Criminal and Family Court for 30 years. Stephen maintains a keen interest in offshore sail cruising. As an accomplished speaker he regularly delivers his uniquely illustrated talks on maritime topics to regional groups.
